Frequently Asked Questions About Mark Barbieri Glasgow Wedding Photographer

Will you take traditional or candid images at our wedding?
We specialise in relaxed, reportage-style photography because we feel that this captures the most natural images of your day; however, many couples (and parents) prefer traditional group shots so we make sure this style is available. Most weddings combine a mixture of both styles but we do recommend no more than eight traditional groups so we have enough time for the candid shots and more time to concentrate on the bride and groom.

I'm interested in the digital package. How does this work?
Our usual service applies and instead of providing an album, couples receive a disc containing up to 300 images in hi-resolution, print-ready format. This enables couples to source their own album, obtain prints and share the images with family and friends. Mark Barbieri Photography retains the copyright to the images and you are free to use them as you please with the exception of selling or sharing them for profit.

How long do you spend at our wedding?
This depends on the package you choose. Coverage can begin in the morning as the bride gets ready and ends after the first dance and sometimes later.

How far will you travel?
We are based in Glasgow and will travel throughout Scotland. A mileage charge of £0.45 per mile applies for locations more than 50 miles from Glasgow.

When can we see the images?
Your photographs will be able to view one week after your wedding. We will send you a proofing CD containing a slideshow in pdf format to view on your computer. Once you have selected your images, your album will be ready within four weeks. Digital images of selected albums are also included.

How do family and friends see our images?
As well as your cd with images, selected images will also appear on the our website within one week of your wedding.

Do you offer black and white or sepia images, as well as color?
Yes. Selected black and white or colour-toned images are available and will be included on your proofing CD.

How do we book Mark Barbieri photography?
When you decide to book mark photography, we'll send you a booking form. Simply return this with your deposit for £200 to reserve your wedding date. We only photograph one wedding per day and dates are booked on a first come, first served basis.

When do we pay for our wedding?
The balance of the payment is required two weeks in advance of the wedding date.

How much do you charge?
There are no hidden costs. Our packages start at £600. We have various album packages available. Please ask for details. This includes VAT.
